Okta, the independent identity provider, has appointed information technology industry veteran and senior business executive Neville Vincent as vice president for Asia to handle its business operations, deepen partnerships, and lead expansions in this region.
He joins Okta from cloud computing company Nutanix, where he was the vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan region.
Announcing the news in a post on LinkedIn, Vincent wrote he is looking forward to working with Okta’s customers, partners and team to provide digital identity solutions that deliver “superior” digital experiences.
“Digital identity is the foundation of modern businesses… As cyberattacks intensify, organisations look to security, customer experience, and the cloud as key differentiators of their business,” he said in a statement.
Prior to Nutanix, Vincent held senior sales leadership roles at Oracle, Hitachi Vantara, and Adduce Technologies.
Okta’s Senior Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific, Ben Goodman, said: “Vincent has tremendous depth and breadth of experience working with customers, partners, and teams across the Asian IT industry. We are privileged to have him on board, and we look forward to his leadership to help take Okta’s business in the region to the next level.”
Okta helps brands to enable secure access, authentication, and automation.
