Raymond Tan

Editorial and Media Director

Raymond Tan is an experienced editor and communications professional who has worked across the technology, media, entertainment, broadcast, marketing and travel industries over the past 30 years.  

Raymond re-joins ITNews Asia in 2024 in a new and expanded role as editorial and media director. He helped launch iTNews Asia back in 2021 as the Editor-in-Chief.

Over the years, Raymond has worked in several media organisations such as CMP Business Media, Questex Asia, ZDNet Asia, Travel Trade Gazette Asia, and Editech International (Asia-Pacific Broadcasting) across various capacities from editorial to events. He also produced a number of conferences and awards, as well as spoken at webinars and moderated panel discussions.

Raymond was Senior Editor at MartechAsia in 2023. He previously held the roles of Publisher at ZDNet Asia and Associate Publisher at CMP Asia (Asia Computer Weekly and Intelligent Enterprise) and Questex Asia (Network World Asia). He was also the editor and editorial bureau chief of Enterprise Innovation, Network World Asia, Asia Pacific Broadcasting, and Telecom Asia.

Abbinaya Kuzhanthaivel is an engineer turned journalist with a passion to write on latest technologies, cyber security, telco, and semiconductor industry.

With over 5 years of experience working in media, she has done numerous interviews with industry and subject matter experts from the latest advancements to the ethical dilemmas of data privacy.

She was previously Assistant Editor, Business, at Electronics For You Group and Reporter cum Sub-Editor at The Electronics.
