Wi-Fi 6E offers efficient bandwidth for modern applications in the enterprise space

With an additional 1200 MHz of spectrum available for use in the 6 GHz band for Wi-Fi applications, Wi-Fi 6 devices have the option to operate in 14 additional 80 MHz channels and seven additional 160 MHz channels.

This broader spectrum simplifies network design and delivers ultimate Wi-Fi performance with higher throughput and wider channels, while eliminating the need to support legacy devices, resulting in less network congestion.

At a recent webinar, Wizards of Wi-Fi 6E: 6GHz Challenges and Solutions organised by Juniper Networks and supported by iTnews Asia highlighted the point that Wi-Fi 6E compliments existing 5GHz and 2.4 GHz bands within an enterprise environment, thus providing more options to configure the network so that it can work with high efficiency.

Wes Purvis, Senior Product Manager at Juniper Mist and Peter Mackenzie, Director of UK-based MQ Training Services, shared tips and strategies for organisations who are looking to use the 6GHz band for improved wireless communication during the webinar.
