Victor Ng set to be BlackLine’s Regional Vice President for Asia

Ng will be overseeing the North and South East sales and business development amidst growing demand for automation and efficiency in a company’s finance journey.

BlackLine has promoted Victor Ng to Regional Vice President of Asia. In his new role, Ng will be responsible for overseeing the sales and business development for BlackLine’s South East and North Asia region.

With over 17 years of experience in the tech and software industry, Ng started his career in data management.

He has held numerous positions, including sales and leadership roles with SAS, Qlik, Cloudera & most recently IBM. As part of his responsibilities, Ng led go-to market strategies, ensuring continuous growth and sales consistency with enterprises across the region.

“Victor has an extensive track record of overseeing sales and business growth in Asia Pacific for prominent tech players, especially in the cloud and software-as-a-service space. His expertise will be instrumental as we look to deepen our footprint in the region,” said Terry Smagh, Senior Vice President and General Manager Asia Pacific and Japan, BlackLine.

“Since the start of BlackLine’s operations in Singapore, Victor has successfully enhanced our standing as the accounting automation software leader through optimised sales productivity and building strategic alliances with key customers and partners. His promotion will help take our Asia Pacific and Japan leadership team to the next level and BlackLine to greater heights as finance automation continues to grow rapidly in this region.
