TIBCO has signed an Industrial-Academic Agreement with Woosong University Software College Project Group to provide its students with business-oriented training programmes on data analytics.
As part of the agreement, Woosong University and TIBCO will engage students through workshops and other practice-based training to equip them with the advanced analytic skills essential for careers in the digital economy.
There will be practical training workshops available that will cover data analytics and data visualisation that will leverage on TIBCO solutions. Students majoring in IT Convergence, Gaming and Multimedia, and Technology Studies will also benefit from this initiative with the opportunity to learn data statistics, data processing, and analytics as part of their course modules.
The partnership will also help address the digital skills gap in South Korea. Students from the programme will have the opportunity to intern at TIBCO’s partner companies, gaining first-hand experience in dealing with data.
Virtual and hybrid events such as special lectures, workshops, and seminars will also be organised to reinforce learning and strengthen student’s knowledge and capabilities in data analytics.
