API transformation company Jitterbit has named Marco Meisert as Director of Channel and Alliances – APAC.

With this addition, Jitterbit plans to further accelerate its growth in the APAC region, across the Southeast Asia countries, Hong Kong, Korea and Japan.

Meisert, who will be based in the regional headquarters in Sydney, is a global alliances and sales leader with over 15 years experience in diverse industries. He offers in-depth expertise in all aspects of channel and direct sales, in the SaaS and PaaS technology sectors.

Meisert also worked for iPaaS vendor Boomi, a Dell Technology company, where he was responsible for managing strategic alliances with global software companies and building go-to-market strategies with local and global systems integrators across Asia Pacific.

“COVID-19 has been an accelerator for organisations embarking on their digital transformation journey, to offer different solutions and services and stay more relevant for their customers,” said Andrew Henderson, Jitterbit Managing Director - Asia Pacific.

“The adoption of the cloud and best of breed applications are driving more demand in the market for an API Integration platform, and Jitterbit is a leader in this space. Our leadership in innovation combined with best-in-class support is a clear differentiator over competing vendors.”

Henderson said Jitterbit’s global alliances and partnerships will accelerate the successful expansion across Asia Pacific.

To underpin the expansion in APAC, Jitterbit is also recruiting new channel partners to help with solutions delivery.
