Indonesia’s Krom Bank has extended its multi-year partnership with Mambu, a cloud banking platform, to accelerate the development and rollout of new financial products.
The renewed agreement will support the launch of additional deposit and loan offerings.
It will enhance the bank’s cloud-based banking capabilities.
This will enable faster product development and inclusive services for digital-native and underbanked customers across Indonesia.
Over the next five years, Krom plans to integrate AI-driven services, expand workforce cloud capabilities, and scale digital banking solutions.
The bank is leveraging Mambu’s composable core banking platform and Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
Krom Bank’s president director, Anton Hermawan, said the renewed partnership is a key step in Krom’s long-term strategy to build a scalable, innovative, and inclusive digital bank for Indonesians.
With Mambu’s cloud-native core and the flexibility it provides, the bank has been able to launch high-impact products faster, stay compliant, and deliver an uninterrupted customer experience, said Hermawan.
As Krom targets 20 million accounts by 2030, Mambu will be a key partner, he added.
Krom aims to serve the 75 percent of the Indonesian population that remains unbanked or underbanked.
The bank selected Mambu as its core banking partner in March 2022.
Within 12 months, the bank went live with personal and business banking products, including current accounts, savings, and term deposits.
