Equinix has appointed Cyrus Adaggra as Vice President of Corporate Development of Equinix Asia-Pacific.
Based in Sydney, Adaggra will be leading the Asia-Pacific Corporate Development team in driving the company's growth strategy to expand Equinix's footprint in existing and new markets across the region.
Addagra brings with him more than 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial strategy and corporate development. He was most recently with Telstra Ltd, where over the last 10 years he led a number of M&A projects as well as large and complex cross-enterprise strategic initiatives.
Prior to that, he worked in the M&A practice of Ernst & Young and acted as transaction advisor to large multinational corporations, private equity firms and private businesses.
Over the course of his career, Addagra has led numerous strategic acquisitions and data centre transactions to maximise return on investment and organisational growth. His substantial professional experience across Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan and Singapore underlies his vast regional experience in driving company growth through acquisitions and greenfield development.
“Cyrus’ extensive background in the telecommunications industry, combined with his expertise in corporate development and mergers and acquisitions, make him a valuable addition to the Equinix Asia-Pacific executive management team,” said Jeremy Deutsch, President, Equinix Asia-Pacific.
“Asia-Pacific remains one of the most dynamic markets in the world, so we have been driving extensive expansion across the region. I believe Cyrus’ efforts will further enhance our presence and reach in the market and help deliver new opportunities for Equinix and our customers.”
