Construction contractor deepens 'digital-first' push.

TOA Corporation, a construction contracting firm headquartered in Japan, is digitising its invoice management processes with a cloud-based system.

The company is moving to Sansan’s digital invoice solution, Bill One, to “go paperless across more of its finance operations” as it continues to embrace a “digital-first” operating model.

Sansan’s cloud-based software will act as a hub that manages a volume of approximately 1000 invoices a month.

“In addition, more of the communications between TOA Corporation and its vendors will move into the cloud with Bill One,” the two companies said in a statement.

TOA Corporation’s general manager of Singapore Kenichi Moriyama said the “technology solution will contribute positively towards ESG [environmental, social, and governance] efforts in areas like paper reduction and data custody.”

We are registering a growing number of our suppliers' finance information on Bill One, streamlining our invoice processes and no longer relying on our legacy internal systems to do this,” Moriyama said.

“We are excited to continue together with Sansan on this digital transformation partnership."

Sansan’s regional CEO Edward Senju said TOA Corporation is embracing a “meaningful program of digital transformation” and had “shown their commitment to upgrading the business and remaining competitive in the new digital environment.”

TOA Corporation has run dredging and reclamation work on multiple projects in Singapore.
