Pepe Jeans India, the country’s premium denim brand plans to unify data sources to make informed decisions.

It will help the brand elevate operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and drive profitability.

According to the denim brand, it is using Algonomy's Merchandise Analytics platform to get a comprehensive analytical and predictive view across facets, including sales, inventory, buying, assortment, pricing, promotions, operations, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

The platform offers self-service capabilities to help create new analyses within the Merchandise Analytics solution, it added.

Pepe Jeans India’s MD and CEO, Manish Kapoor said the platform provides a comprehensive and predictive view across aspects of business.

From sales and inventory to pricing and promotions, the platform's capabilities help make informed decisions and enhance customer experiences, he added.

With the platform's machine learning capabilities, Pepe Jeans India can predict future selling prices based on the price elasticity of demand.

This helps optimise markdowns by considering factors including historical sales, product lifecycle, inventory availability and events.

Algonomy’s SVP of sales and business development (APAC and MEA), Amit Agarwal said by unifying data sources and providing a predictive view across key performance indicators, Algonomy enables Pepe Jeans India to make strategic decisions with precision.
