To monetise database and help customers access services.

Indonesia-based healthcare services provider Bunda Hospital Group, part of Bundamedik Healthcare System (BHMS), has tapped Indian software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Netcore Cloud to provide patients with an omnichannel platform to access healthcare services and equip marketers to monetise their database.

BMHS’ head of digital transformation and customer engagement, Bayu Janitra Wirjoatmodjo, told iTnews Asia that Bunda is using Netcore products including Email Blast, WhatsApp Blast and Web Push notifications to engage with patients and offer personalised suggestions.

This integration has been done for the Progressive Web App (PWA) – OneBunda.com, he added.

The group is using marketing automation software – Raman AI, for the marketing department to engage and monetise the patient database to gain patient loyalty and increase transactions.

Founded In 1961, BMHS started as a private maternity clinic and now runs nine business units in over 25 locations throughout Indonesia.

According to BHMS, it currently manages data of over 110,000 patients.

Wirjoatmodjo said the manual process to sort data and reach out to patients required time and effort, resulting in a slow business process, and requires resources.

Raman AI helps Bunda analyse behavioural, engagement, transactional, and user-profile data of patients, to provide personalised offers, information and services including health consultations, doctor appointments, and health services, he added.

This equips marketers to gain real-time insights for gaining patient loyalty and increasing transactions.

Conversion rate up

Wirjoatmodjo said after careful comparisons with other vendors, both in terms of service and costs, Bunda went with Netcore as its solution was "affordable and provided a dedicated team to assist in optimising the tools during implementation".

Post-implementation, the conversion rate of the number of users booking on OneBunda to the number of transactions was over 43 percent, said Wirjoatmodjo.

In terms of returning users, the group saw an increase of over 30 percent after implementing Netcore’s email blast service, he added.

Wirjoatmodjo said the group is planning to add a push notifications service from Netcore, as it is working to develop OneBunda into an application.
