DCI Indonesia has announced that its Tier IV data centre E1 in downtown Jakarta is operational.

It offers 18 MW of IT capacity across 30,000 sqm and can accommodate up to 4,000 racks.

According to DCI, the data centre operations began in December 2023.

It has been built in collaboration with Indonesian conglomerate Salim Group, it added.

The E1 data centre serves customers from sectors including banking, telecommunications, manufacturing and state-owned enterprises.

It also serves the financial services industry, cloud, e-commerce, and content delivery network (CDN).
