The Netherlands-based NTS Group which designs, develops and produces opto-mechatronic systems (OEMs), has opened its new facility in Singapore.

The news was shared by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), the lead government agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry via a LinkedIn post.

OEMs are essential in semiconductor equipment for tasks such as lithography, inspection, metrology, wafer handling, and alignment.

The new facility is opening at 21B Senoko Loop, an industrial property in northern Singapore.

Moreover, the Dutch high-tech industrial supplier will be investing S$25 million in Singapore over the next five years in new infrastructure and equipment.

According to EDB, the NTS Group’s operations are the largest in Asia by revenue and production capacity.

Further, the group has connected with over 500 Singapore-based suppliers and service providers, strengthening the facility’s supply chain and generating mutually beneficial business opportunities in the growing global market for semiconductor equipment.
