Singapore’s national healthtech agency, Synapxe, has partnered with Google Cloud to strengthen its data and AI platforms - HEALIX and Tandem.

It will be done using Google Cloud’s AI and data services.

Announced during the agency’s inaugural AI conference “AI Accelerate,” the partnership aims to scale AI integration across healthcare delivery.

The aim is to improve outcomes through predictive and personalised care solutions.

As part of the collaboration, at least 300 healthcare technology professionals will be trained and certified in applying Google Cloud’s enterprise AI tools.

The agreement also includes co-organising biannual workshops focused on generative AI and data analytics to promote continuous learning and innovation across Singapore’s healthcare ecosystem.

Synapxe’s CEO, Ngiam Siew Ying, said, “AI holds immense promise for transforming healthcare through innovation. By harnessing its capabilities, we are developing solutions that enhance predictive and personalised care and improve health outcomes for everyone.”

“At Synapxe, we build a bridge to AI-ready healthcare, anchored on empowering people, fostering a vibrant ecosystem, establishing infrastructure, and enabling responsible innovation. Together with our partners, we transform data into vision, ensuring that the human experience remains at the heart of healthcare,” she added.

Google Cloud’s AI capabilities may support initiatives such as ambient documentation, semantic search in electronic health records, and multimodal data analysis for diagnostics.
