Philippines rural bank CBB to advance banking infrastructure

With plans to expand market footprint.

Philippines rural bank Country Builders Bank (CBB) is advancing its banking infrastructure to achieve operational efficiency, accelerate revenue generation, and expand market footprint.

The bank is currently serving clientele across Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and Bulacan areas of the country.

CBB’s president and CEO, Ismael R. Sandig, said the bank has partnered with Kiya.ai to enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and drive sustainable growth.

Kiya.ai is an India-based digital solutions provider serving financial institutions and governments globally.

The bank will use a suite of banking solutions, including core banking, loan origination, loan management, anti-money laundering (AML), mobile banking, and internet banking tailored for retail and corporate clients.

With the implementation of core banking and RegTech solutions, CBB can automate processes, improve risk management, and enhance compliance measures.

This will help strengthen its position as a trusted financial partner for customers.

Kiya.ai’s president, Amit Sharma, said together with CBB, the aim is to enhance the banking landscape in the Philippines, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainable growth.
