Zoom Communications has appointed Andrew Hindmarch as Head of Channel Strategy, Asia Pacific (APAC), bringing more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology and CX to the company's regional AI growth.
Based in Singapore, Hindmarch will lead the company’s channel strategy across the region and will report to Carlos Quaderi, Head of APAC at Zoom.
The appointment comes as organisations across APAC increasingly turn to AI to streamline workflows and improve customer experience, creating new opportunities for channel partners to help drive adoption.
Hindmarch joins Zoom from NiCE, where he oversaw channel partnerships for the customer experience (CX) division across APAC and the Middle East. He previously held leadership roles at Avaya, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and 3Com.
His deep CX expertise and a track record of building channel businesses across diverse markets will help Zoom to expand market reach, strengthen partner capabilities, and create new growth opportunities.
“I’m excited to join Zoom at a time when AI is creating new opportunities for organisations to rethink how work gets done and how they engage with their customers,” said Hindmarch. “Having spent much of my career in CX and scaling channel businesses, I’ve seen the critical role partners play in turning technology into real outcomes for customers. Zoom's AI-powered solutions provide us with a strong opportunity to help partners address our customers’ needs and grow their businesses across APAC.”
His responsibilities span Zoom's AI-powered products and services, including ZoomMate, Zoom CX, Zoom Phone and Zoom Events.
The focus is to strengthen the company's CX ecosystem and help partners capitalise on demand for AI-driven customer engagement and analytics solutions.
