Zoom appoints new APAC head

Effective from 1 August 2026.

Zoom has appointed Carlos Quaderi as Head of Asia Pacific (APAC), effective 1 August 2026, as the company looks to expand its presence across the region and drive adoption of its AI-powered collaboration platform.

Reporting to Graeme Geddes, Zoom's Chief Sales and Growth Officer, Quaderi will lead the company's go-to-market strategy across Australia and New Zealand, Asia, India and Korea..

The appointment comes as organisations across APAC increasingly shift from standalone productivity tools towards AI-powered platforms that streamline workflows, reduce operational complexity and help employees move more efficiently from conversations to action.

Quaderi previously led Zoom's Asia business, overseeing strategy, sales execution and go-to-market initiatives across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan.

In his expanded role, he will oversee the broader APAC region, with a focus on growing Zoom's customer experience (CX) business, expanding its small and medium-sized business (SMB) segment, and strengthening its channel partner ecosystem.

Before joining Zoom, Quaderi held senior leadership positions at Workday, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft, where he led enterprise growth and go-to-market strategies across Asia Pacific and Japan. He will remain based in Singapore while continuing to oversee Zoom's Asia business during the transition.

"APAC is a critical growth region, and our continued investment reflects the opportunities we see across enterprise and SMB segments, CX business, and our partner ecosystem," said Graeme Geddes, Chief Sales and Growth Officer at Zoom.

Geddes said Quaderi's experience and regional knowledge would help organisations adopt Zoom's AI capabilities to improve productivity, strengthen customer engagement and support business growth.

Quaderi said organisations across the region are looking for technology that helps teams work faster while maintaining meaningful collaboration.

The appointment follows Zoom's broader investment in the APAC market, including expanding its partner ecosystem and opening a new office in Singapore as it continues to grow its regional presence.
