Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has announced its entry into South Korea with plans to build up to 500 MW of data centre capacity to support demand from cloud and AI providers.

The company plans to develop its first 48 MW campus, called PDG SE1, located in Incheon, Greater Seoul.

It will invest over SGD 910 million (USD 700 million) to build the SE1 campus.

The new campus will be developed on an 11,000 sqm site and will be ready for service in early 2028.

Power is fully contracted for the facility, and construction is commencing later this month.

PDG's CEO and co-founder, Rangu Salgame, said the company's entry is part of a long-term plan to be a significant provider of AI and cloud data centre capacity in the country.

The campus will feature high-density configurations, advanced cooling systems, and energy-efficient technologies aligned with PDG’s Net Zero by 2030 and RE100 commitments.

This is PDG’s seventh market after Singapore, Japan, India, Indonesia, China, and Malaysia.

With SE1, PDG’s portfolio now exceeds 1.2 GW of IT capacity across seven countries and over 20 campuses.
