Informatica picks Krish Vitaldevara as new EVP and CPO

Will oversee product strategy and innovation.

Informatica has appointed Krish Vitaldevara as executive vice president (EVP) and chief product officer (CPO).

As CPO, Vitaldevara will oversee product strategy that aligns with business objectives and leverages technologies, including AI, to improve offerings.

He will focus on customer engagement, market expansion, and strategic partnerships.

The aim is to utilise AI and data for decision making to enhance product quality and performance.

He will also join Informatica’s Executive Committee.

Before this role, he was serving as senior vice president and general manager at NetApp.

He had also worked at Microsoft and Google.

Vitaldevara holds over 30 patents in technology and innovation.

Informatica also announced that Bala Kumaresan, EVP and head of engineering, has joined its Executive Committee.

Kumaresan, who previously held roles at Symantec, Oracle, and F5, strengthens Informatica’s leadership in multi-cloud enterprise data management.
