Golden Arches Development Corporation (GADC), the master franchise holder of McDonald’s in the Philippines, aims to digitise and modernise the IT operations across its over 760 restaurants.

The upgrade's intent is to increase efficiency, optimise operating costs, and drive digital transformation and innovation.

It will enhance the franchisee experience, boost stakeholder loyalty, improve process optimisation, and raise workforce productivity.

GADC has signed a two-year partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

TCS will implement a cloud-based upgrade using SAP S/4HANA on RISE to improve McDonald’s systems in the Philippines.

GADC’s managing director, Margot Torres, said this partnership with TCS to implement SAP S/4HANA on RISE will provide greater agility through data-driven insights, and help improve customer and employee experience.

Through the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), TCS will provide development and integration services including app development, automation, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.

GADC will benefit from TCS integrating additional SAP capabilities, ensuring comprehensive data management and automation solutions for specific needs.

These integrations will enhance the fast-food chain’s proficiency in financial management, materials management, enterprise asset management, project management, sales and distribution, user interface, and master data management.
