Facilitates data integration across departments.

Indonesia’s healthcare conglomerate, Arya Noble has migrated to cloud-based ERP solutions to address operational challenges, streamline operations, and enhance customer experiences.

The company owns beauty and wellness brands including GENERO, Derma XP, and Marco along with its flagship brand Erha, popular for clinic treatments.

Arya Noble’s chief information officer, Yonathan Moniaga, told iTnews Asia that due to a diverse business portfolio, the company was facing challenges in managing data, operations, and business processes.

"The legacy ERP system in place had limited functionality, which resulted in the need for manual processes to meet business requirements," Moniaga said.

The company stored data in silos that lacked centralisation and led to misalignment within the departments and poor visibility across the organisation.

After evaluating multiple vendors, the company selected RISE with SAP - a cloud-based ERP solution - at the end of Q3 2023 for predictive manufacturing.

Moniaga said SAP's maturity in providing comprehensive capabilities closely matched their requirements to support growth and business expansion.

Data integration

Arya Noble implemented SAP solutions, including SAP finance for material and warehouse management, production planning, sales and distribution, quality managementa and plant maintenance.

The integrated solutions ensured data exchange between the sales and finance departments.

Moniaga said the integration of data across the research and development, production, and finance departments improved product costing accuracy.

With accurate and up-to-date data on materials and production requirements, SAP's platform enabled better Material Requirements Planning (MRP), leading to enhanced process efficiency.

By integrating transactions from sales, production, and procurement directly into the finance module, the company facilitated faster month-end closings and achieved real-time financial insights.

He added that the Arya Noble could observe improved data and process visibility, although quantitative benefits are still under evaluation due to the recent implementation.

It has also undertaken several other initiatives including revamping the clinic information system and implementing solutions like Salesforce automation, customer relationship management (CRM), human capital management (HCM), and artificial intelligence to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer engagement.
