Malaysia-based hybrid recruitment platform Hiredly, previously known as WOBB, has appointed Chong Theng Hui as its chief technology officer (CTO).

The hire is part of a few other top management recruitments by the company as it looks to constitute a new leadership team after the rebrand.

Chong has worked in the data and artificial intelligence (AI) space with more than 19 years of experience in technology.

Prior to this appointment, he was head of innovation technology and projects at PLUS Malaysia, one of the largest expressway service providers in Southeast Asia.

While at PLUS Malaysia, Chong worked on AI, data analytics, and cloud computing projects.

Before that, he co-founded a startup focused on cloud mobile solutions and enterprise digital transformation.
