Lenovo appoints four new leaders to drive APAC growth

Each of the four new country hires brings with them more than two decades of leadership experience.

Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (has announced the appointment of several key hires across Central Asia Pacific to drive business growth and customer confidence in the region.

The newly appointed business leaders are:

Benny Wong, General Manager, Singapore

Benny Wong has over two decades of experience in IT infrastructure management and will lead customer centric solutions as well as manage an extensive product portfolio in Singapore. Prior to joining Lenovo, Benny led the sales team for Veritas data management across ASEAN and also worked with Oracle, HPE, BT Global services and Equinix.

Clark Popple, Country Manager, Philippines

Clark Popple brings with him more than 25 years of experience in leading and managing enterprise IT and services. Prior to joining Lenovo, Clark has held leadership positions in IBM, MDI, Philips Electronics, Compaq and NEC.

Kelvin Chiu, Country Manager, Hong Kong and Macau

Kelvin brings with him close to three decades of industry experience and knowledge and effectively led growth in HPC, Storage, Hybrid Cloud and HCI solutions in Hong Kong and Macau prior to his currently appointment. Kelvin previously held leadership positions in Oracle, PCCW and Lifesize Communications.

Maytha Deemeechai, Country Manager, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar

Maytha has been leading Lenovo enterprise business in Thailand. He has more than 23 years of experience in business strategy and management, having previously worked with companies including AMP, Fujitsu, Dell and Microsoft.

The new country leads will oversee Lenovo’s Enterprise Solutions business, which spans across multiple industry segments and verticals. They will work towards creating opportunities pipeline to meet business goals, execute strategic plans and further developing customer and business partnerships to reduce their products’ time to market.
