Cloud Security company Bitglass has announced the appointment of Pun Kok (PK) Lim as Vice President of Sales for Asia–Pacific & Japan.

Previously with Blue Coat Systems, Palo Alto Networks and Nutanix, Lim brings extensive experience in enterprise networking and security with both customers and partners to fast-track business growth in Asia.

“I am excited to welcome PK Lim to the Bitglass management team,” said Nat Kausik, Chief Executive Officer at Bitglass. “Demand for our SASE solutions is accelerating across the globe, and with PK’s proven sales leadership I’m confident we will continue to expand our sales momentum in the Asia-Pacific region.

International markets are fast becoming an integral component of Bitglass’ success. With over 200 global partners, Bitglass has been expanding worldwide, accelerating sales and increasing its customer base. With PK Lim’s seasoned leadership and channel experience, Bitglass is looking to grow its presence in Asia-Pacific, expand its security leadership and drive innovation in the high growth SASE market.

“I’m excited to join the Bitglass team,” said PK Lim. “Bitglass is clearly differentiated in the industry with its unique CASB technology, and its innovative Secure Web Gateway (SWG) platform. As enterprises struggle to address the dynamic secure access requirements of remote work and cloud-first digital transformation, there is tremendous opportunity in Asia to help them shift to a single point of control.”

Lim brings more than 30 years of successful sales and management experience in Asia to Bitglass. Prior to Nutanix, he held sales management positions at Blue Coat Systems (Symantec), Palo Alto Networks, RSA and Fortinet.

Lim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in IT Management from National University of Ireland.
