The Thai agrochemical company, Sotus International Co., Ltd., is adopting a cloud-based ERP system to enhance digital transformation and strengthen data-driven agriculture.

The new public cloud ERP platform integrates key functions, including R&D, regulatory registration, formula management, and warehouse operations.

It provides real-time access to production and sales data, enabling faster decision-making and support for Thai farmers.

Since implementation, the company has achieved a 95 percent increase in warehouse accuracy and a 75 percent boost in maintenance scheduling efficiency.

It has also registered a 70 percent gain in overall business processes.

The solution is powered by SAP Cloud ERP, implemented in collaboration with NTT DATA Business Solutions (Thailand) Ltd.

Sotus’ president, Chirat Prathuangwong, President, Sotus International Co., Ltd, said, AI adoption and implementation will value-add to two competitive advantages.

First, the richness of agri-business data can be better utilised to support strategic business decisions. And second, as the pioneering agro-chemical company in Thailand to implement SAP Cloud ERP, it will help grow business efficiently and sustainably, Prathuangwong added.

The company provides farmers with crop protection and care products. Its portfolio includes bio and non-bio solutions that improve soil health and crop yields.

As the company’s revenue exceeded 1 billion baht, its on-premises ERP system struggled to keep pace with growing business complexity.

Limited visibility across operations and siloed data affected efficiency and scalability.
