StarHub launches ScamSafe, a mobile app that protects users from fraudulent calls and messages.

The app blocks known scam calls, filters suspicious SMS messages before they reach users and checks unknown numbers against a real-time scam database.

It allows users to set SMS keyword filters.

Customers can also report scams to protect others.

The company partners with Gogolook, an AI anti-scam technology provider, to develop the app.

ScamSafe joins SafeHub+, StarHub’s suite of cybersecurity tools.

StarHub adds that it will expand SafeHub+ through 2025, building a full ecosystem of simple, user-friendly tools for digital safety.

Subscribers in Singapore who sign up before 31 December 2025 enjoy a six-month free trial of ScamSafe.

After the trial, the app is available as a monthly subscription with no contract.

According to the company, the app is available on the App Store and Google Play.

StarHub customers can subscribe through the My StarHub app.
