Singapore’s multi-brand food and beverage company, BreadTalk Group is working with Kyndryl to deploy a single point of IT infrastructure control on the AWS cloud to streamline the running of applications across business areas, built on multi-cloud platforms and on-premises environments.

This project is an extension of an existing partnership between the two companies.

BreadTalk has been working with Kyndryl since 2021 to build an efficient data management system to manage workflow.

The latest project seeks to formulate a cloud strategy to modernise data infrastructure and identify the right tech stack to lay the foundation for a solution that will improve workforce efficiency, enhance security measures, and enable operational control.

BreadTalk Group’s vice president of information technology, Lim Eng Thai, said the group is modernising its IT infrastructure with Kyndryl's guidance and AWS technologies to create value for customers and employees.

The group has migrated its workloads to the AWS cloud.

Founded as a bakery brand in Singapore in 2000, BreadTalk operates around 700 outlets in 16 markets, including Singapore, Greater China, Thailand, Malaysia, India, and the United Kingdom.

Kyndryl ASEAN’s managing director, Andrew Lim, said its expertise in cloud migration and offering managed services, the aim is to enable scalability and enhanced cost-efficiency.
