Downstream LNG platform and infrastructure development company, Atlantic Gulf & Pacific (AG&P) Industrial, a fully-owned subsidiary of Singapore-headquartered AG&P Group, has selected Oracle to integrate its business applications.

AG&P Industrial’s president, Alexander Leo Gamboa, said the company has selected Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) after careful evaluation to gain business insights and enhance decision-making.

Gamboa, said the company identified AI-enabled next-generation ERP and EPM cloud technology for management processes and rapidly expanding operations across multiple projects globally.

The inauguration of the Oracle Fusion Cloud project took place in Muntinlupa, Philippines, he added.

According to AG&P, it has been awarded close to S$1.33 billion in ongoing and new projects worldwide and the company required a SaaS (software-as-a-service) platform to support multi-country finance and operations team expansion.

With the ability of Oracle Fusion Applications to integrate all business functions, the company expects to respond quickly to stakeholders and conduct business with increased agility, performance and efficiency post-implementation, Gamboa said.

AG&P said leveraging Oracle Cloud ERP will increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve controls, while Oracle Cloud EPM will help accelerate planning and decision-making and streamline the financial close.

Also, Oracle’s quarterly updates will help AG&P tap automation capabilities, he added.

Oracle’s vice president, cloud applications, Jay Tuseth, said industrial companies need cloud-based technology that unifies management processes and give visibility and insights into all aspects of the business.

“AG&P can embrace new business models, drive continuous innovation, and achieve faster value in its ongoing phase of global expansion,” Tuseth said.
