iQIYI is launching Super Fans – a new monetisation platform for its video-sharing community, Suike.

Based on data from Suike, more than 100 influential creators on the platform have tested Super Fans – with content ranging from game and movie commentary, general knowledge, unboxing, food, dance, and other categories.

By using Super Fans, creators can establish individual fan-subscription channels to provide exclusive content and interactive value-added services.

With this new model, game-commentary creator iQIYI said that the “Xiaoben Commentary Video” has managed to quadruple orders within three days. Currently, Super Fans accounts for 18% of Xiaoben’s overall monthly income. Another such example is film and television commentary creator “Small Films and Big Films”, a video creator who has shared that his monthly income from Super Fans increased more than threefold.

By setting monthly payment prices with six choices for their fans, creators can increase their income through their content and tap the content monetisation space.
