Informa Tech, the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) have announced that that the new flagship tech event for Asia in 2021 will be called Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG).
This development follows the Memorandum of Intent (MOI) signed in November 2020. ATxSG brings together Informa Tech and key government partners in Singapore to create a uniting platform and gateway to Asia. The event will gather government, tech, and business leaders for dynamic and open discussions on the important role of technology to tackle some of the region’s biggest challenges and power digital innovation for the advancement of Asia, the three parties said in a joint press release.
The event will be conducted in a hybrid format from 13 – 16 July 2021; ATxSG will be hosted at the Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Expo.
The event comprises of the following:
- ATxSummit – an invite-only conference hosted by IMDA,
- ConnecTechAsia – Informa Tech’s leading B2B trade show in Asia, and
- Elevating Founders Asia and accelerateHer Asia – highlighting the start-up ecosystem and diversity in tech respectively.
ATxSG will also feature a host of fringe events that will be announced soon.
