The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Singapore Tourism Board (STB), and Informa Tech came together to sign a Memorandum of Intent (MOI) to inaugurate a new flagship tech event for Asia next year.

The event is scheduled for the second half of 2021, and will be a hybrid event targeted at the Government, businesses in the infocomm, media and tech ecosystem, start-ups, enterprise communities, and the top players of tech.

The partnership will feature “a series of events and activities, will celebrate innovation; talent and set the agenda on digital transformation; diversity and governance in the tech sector,” the three organisations said in a press release.

The hybrid event will combine Informa Tech's international reach, networks and events infrastructure alongside IMDA and STB's local market expertise, and is positioned as the next principal event in Asia where international tech and enterprise communities gather to celebrate the region’s technological developments.
